The Tabernacle
Carnival Village, an amalgamation of four of the largest Carnival oranisations in London, namely Mangrove, Ebony Steel Band Trust, Yaa Asantewaa and the Association of British Calypsonians, re-opens the Tabernacle in Notting Hill after local approval by the Royal borough of Kensington & Chelsea. The Tabernacle is well known for hosting music and arts events and over the years has played host to names like R.E.M, Pink Floyd, Damon Albarn and The Clash.
Carnival Village are managing the site as a multi-venue activity independent of the Notting Hill Carnival itself promoting Ballet, Capoeira, Yoga, Dance and Music.
Later this Spring and in addition to the classes, studio activites and music sessions there will be a grand opening of the restuarant, bars and garden dining area.
The flexibility and versatility of the site is sure to make it an ideal location for product launches, networking events, receptions, dinners or conferences and with many of these events already taking place in Notting Hill it is sure to be a big success.
