London Miles Gallery
The London Miles Gallery, opened 16th April 09, located on Kensington Park Road is to be the new face of cutting contemporary art in Notting Hill. The gallery's opening exhibition will be focusing on "Lowbrow and Pop Surrealist original artwork". The space was previously run by Grenade, with past exhibitions that included group shows such as ‘Quintessential’ featuring works from Tizer, Imaone and Alex Young, Mister MN’s ‘Myth and Magic’ and ‘Crime in the City’, the first solo show with Los Angeles Graffiti legend Revok.
The new opening of this Gallery under the name London Miles, signals a fresh start and the the team that work there, namely Tina Ziegler and Phil Coleman. Both are known to share a passion for street art, which will clearly be the driving force behind the galleries future exhibitions. Their philosophy is to take risks, be flexiable, and search out new works and talent utilising their ever expanding creative network.
London Miles will be exhibiting, but is not limited to, surrealism, sculpture, pop art, illustration works from both internationally and emerging artists. The balanced knowledge and experience of the management team combined with their artist managing skills will hopefully pave the path for success in many years to come.
