UK PREMIERE OF TASHALASKA UNVEILS THE WORLD OF COMPETITIVE FACIAL HAIR

Tashalaska, a documentary film by Tessa Morgan (Mike Leigh, Happy-Go-Lucky), will screen it's UK premiere at Portobello Pop Up Cinema on Wednesday 19 October at 8pm.

A full length version of the critically acclaimed (and equally hilarious) short film, Tashtastic, which has been featured by the BBC and recently broadcast on Current TV, Tashalaska is a brilliantly entertaining account of 3 top facial hair contenders as they prepare for and compete at the World Beard and Moustache Championships 2009 in Alaska USA.
Complimentary moustaches will be granted as a reward for a small donation, and film-goers are encouraged to bring/wear their own to join the ranks of UK's finest facial hair talent from the big screen and in the flesh, with attendance from Handlebar Club & the British Beard Club confirmed.

The UK premiere takes place at the Portobello Pop Up Cinema, a non-profit Microplex cinema and arts venue situated under the Westway flyover on 3 Acklam Road, W10 5TY on Wednesday 19 October at 8pm.
