A one-day sale of beautiful embroidery and needlework,  handmade by inmates in UK prisons. On sale are a range of exquisitely made cushions and quilts featuring contemporary and traditional designs. There is something to suit every home style. This year, Fine Cell Work are introducing a new range of embroidered items as well which include witty “SWAG BAGS”, making for both a practical and fun fashion statement; tea cosies – a nod to trendy tea parties; and a charming range of small animals to treasure as keepsakes – ideal for stocking fillers.

About Fine Cell Work

Fine Cell Work is a social enterprise that teaches needlework to prison inmates and sells their products. The earnings give them hope, skills and independence. Stitchers spend an average of twenty hours a week doing embroidery in their cells; it’s a way of life that enables them to serve their time with dignity and purpose. Fine Cell Work is done in 30 prisons and 80% of the stitchers are men.  All the classes have waiting lists.
